CONTRACTORCOUNTER CUSTOMER AGREEMENT

THIS AGREEMENT GOVERNS CUSTOMER'S ACQUISITION AND USE OF CONTRACTORCOUNTER, A GLOBAL HOSTED DIGITAL PRODUCT FOR CONSTRUCTION DRAWING MARKUP, MEASUREMENT, COUNTING, PROJECT REVIEW, AND EXPORTS.
By creating an account, starting a trial, subscribing to a paid plan, accepting an invitation, or using the service, Customer agrees to this Customer Agreement, the Terms of Service, and the Privacy Policy.

1. Agreement on sign-up
When a user creates a ContractorCounter account, starts a trial, subscribes to a paid plan, accepts an invitation, or uses the product, the user agrees to this Customer Agreement and the linked Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
If a user acts for a company, partnership, project team, or other organization, that user represents that they have authority to accept this agreement for that organization.
2. Digital product scope
ContractorCounter is a browser-based construction drawing markup product for uploading drawings, annotating PDFs, calibrating scale, measuring, counting, reviewing project information, and exporting markups.
The service is provided as a hosted digital product. Users are responsible for their internet connection, device, browser, project assumptions, professional review, and final use of exported materials.
3. Acceptable use
Users must use ContractorCounter only for lawful business purposes and must not upload content they are not authorized to process, share, or review.
Users must not attempt unauthorized access, interfere with the service, bypass security or usage limits, upload malicious code, scrape protected areas, reverse engineer restricted parts of the service, or use the product to infringe third-party rights.
4. Project content
Customers retain ownership of their drawings, markups, measurements, counts, comments, exports, and workspace content.
ContractorCounter may host, process, transmit, display, back up, and use customer content as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the service.
5. Privacy, data processing, and global use
ContractorCounter may be used by customers in different regions. Personal information and project content may be processed in countries where ContractorCounter and its service providers operate, subject to applicable law and contractual safeguards.
The Privacy Policy explains the categories of information we collect, how we use and share information, retention practices, security safeguards, and privacy request paths.
6. AI and automated features
Some product features may use automated or AI-assisted processing to help with project review, summaries, takeoffs, quoting, or methodology generation.
AI-assisted output can be incomplete or inaccurate. Users remain responsible for reviewing output, confirming quantities, checking drawing scale, and applying professional judgment before relying on results.
7. Billing, service levels, and changes
Paid plans, renewals, taxes, refunds, cancellations, usage limits, and account changes are governed by the Terms of Service and the checkout or order terms shown at purchase.
ContractorCounter aims to provide reliable access, but the service may be affected by maintenance, updates, outages, provider failures, internet issues, or events outside our control. We may update this agreement and product terms with notice where required.
8. Definitions
Customer means the person or organization that creates an account, subscribes to a plan, accepts an invitation, or otherwise uses ContractorCounter.
Customer content means drawings, files, markups, measurements, counts, exports, comments, workspace settings, and related project information uploaded to or created in ContractorCounter.
Service means the hosted ContractorCounter web application, related digital product features, support surfaces, and connected account services.
