Managing Drawing Tabs
Each open drawing gets its own tab above the viewer. Use tabs to switch between sheets, compare context, and keep the current drawing clear.

Tabs identify open drawings and help prevent marking up the wrong file.
Switch drawings
- 1
Open multiple drawings
Open the drawings you need from the Files panel — each opens in its own tab.
- 2
Select a tab
Click the tab for the drawing you want active. Tabs can be reordered by dragging and closed with the X.
- 3
Check the page
Confirm the active drawing name and page before placing markups or measurements.
Use tabs with panels
Panels such as Markup List, Measurements, Layers, and Search follow the active drawing (or all open drawings, when the Markup List scope is set to Open), so check scope before bulk edits.
