Count markers can use several shapes and colours for visual separation.

Choose a shape

  1. 1

    Start Count

Choose Count from the toolbar or press N, then place your markers.

  2. 2

    Set the shape in Properties

Select a marker in the group and choose the Count Shape in the Properties panel: circle, square, rectangle, checkmark, triangle, or cross. Colour is set the same way.

  3. 3

    Check readability

Confirm the markers are readable at the zoom level used for review before counting the whole sheet.

Use shape conventions

Use consistent shapes per item type across a project, such as circles for lights, squares for outlets, and checkmarks for reviewed doors.
