Some drawing sets contain mixed scales or scanned pages. Recalibration keeps measurement values tied to the actual page scale you are using.

Know when to recalibrate

Treat each page with a different printed scale as a separate calibration risk. Scale is stored per page for exactly this reason.

Scanned sheets may not match the printed title block scale exactly.

If a page is rotated, replaced, or re-inserted, confirm measurements still match known dimensions before trusting totals.
