Search result actions can create count markers at detected text bounds.
Create counts from search
- 1
Open Search
Open the Search panel from the sidebar rail.
- 2
Search the drawing text
Enter the item code, fixture tag, door type, or symbol label you want to find.
- 3
Review matches
Check the result list and page locations before creating markups.
- 4
Create count markers
Use the count action on results to place markers at the matched locations, then audit the group in the Markup List.
Check the drawing type
Search-based counts only work well when the PDF text is searchable and item labels are consistent. Scanned or image-only drawings may need visual search or manual review instead.
