Drawing Polygons and Polylines

Polygons and polylines let you trace shapes that are not simple rectangles. Use measurement tools when the same geometry needs quantity totals.

Click each point in sequence, then finish the path when the boundary or route is complete.

Create a multi-point markup

  1. 1

    Choose Polygon or Polyline

    Choose Polygon for a closed shape or Polyline for an open path.

  2. 2

    Click each vertex

    Click each corner or route point on the drawing.

  3. 3

    Finish the markup

    Complete the path using the canvas finish gesture or close the shape when required.

Adjust the path

    Select the markup

    Switch to Select and choose the polygon or polyline.

  2. 2

    Move handles

    Drag vertex handles to refine the path before exporting or linking the result to takeoff work.
