Styling Markups
Consistent markup styling makes drawings faster to review. ContractorCounter keeps common style controls in the toolbar and detailed controls in the Properties panel, and each tool remembers the last style you used.

Supported markups expose colour, fill, font, hatch, and line controls based on their type.
Update a markup style
- 1
Select the markup
Click the object or select it from the Markup List.
- 2
Use quick controls
Adjust common line, fill, and text settings from the toolbar when they are available.
- 3
Use Properties for detail
Open Properties for type-specific fields: line style and end caps, fill colour and opacity, hatch patterns, fonts, and measurement options.
Set a repeatable style
- 1
Choose the tool
Pick the markup or measurement tool you plan to use repeatedly.
- 2
Set the style before drawing
Choose the colour, line weight, opacity, fill, or font settings. Each tool remembers its last-used style for new markups.
- 3
Pin it in the Tool Chest
Open the Tool Chest panel and pin the styled tool to My Tools so it stays one click away across sessions.
