Managing Drawing Pages
Multi-page drawing sets change over a job: revised sheets arrive, blank pages are needed for notes, and single sheets need extracting for a subcontractor. All of this happens in the Thumbnails panel without leaving the workspace.

The Thumbnails context menu holds insert, replace, extract, delete, and page clipboard actions.
Add and replace pages
- 1
Insert pages
Right-click a thumbnail and choose Insert Blank Page (Ctrl+Shift+N) for a notes sheet, or Insert Pages (Ctrl+Shift+I) to bring in pages from another PDF or image file.
- 2
Replace revised sheets
Choose Replace Pages (Ctrl+Shift+Y) to swap selected pages for a new file — useful when a revision supersedes a sheet but the rest of the set is unchanged.
- 3
Recheck scale and markups
Replaced pages need recalibration, and existing markups should be reviewed against the new sheet content.
Extract, move, and remove pages
- 1
Extract pages
Choose Extract Pages (Ctrl+Shift+X) to save selected sheets as their own file — handy for issuing a single trade's sheets.
- 2
Move pages with the clipboard
Cut, Copy, and Paste Pages reorganize sheets within or between positions in the document.
- 3
Delete pages
Choose Delete Pages (Ctrl+Shift+D) to remove selected sheets. A document must keep at least one page.
Export a single page
The same context menu can export the selected page as PDF, PNG, or JPEG — the quickest way to get a single-sheet image for an email or site message.
