Drag a region over the page to capture or act on a specific area.

Capture a snapshot

  1. 1

    Choose Snapshot Region

Select Snapshot Region from the document tool group.

  2. 2

    Drag a rectangle

Drag around the detail, note, or area you want to capture.

  3. 3

    Choose the follow-up action

Use the available snapshot action, such as creating a reusable capture or sending the region to an AI workflow.

Use erase carefully

Erase regions affect the visible markup/export workflow. Review the drawing after erasing so important PDF content is not hidden by mistake.
