Using Text Markups
Text markups are best for instructions, clarifications, review comments, and short notes that need to stay visible on exported drawing records. For a note with a leader arrow pointing at a detail, use the Callout tool instead.

Text markups can be selected, edited, formatted, and exported with the drawing.
Place a text markup

Choose Text
Select Text from the markup toolbar or press T.

Click on the drawing
Click where the note should appear, then enter the note text.

Resize the box
Select the text markup and drag a handle if the note needs more room.
Format text

Select the text
Click the text markup or pick it from the Markup List.

Open Properties
Choose a font (Helvetica, Arial, Times New Roman, Courier, or Calibri), size from 6 to 72 pt, colour, bold, italic, underline, strikethrough, and left, centre, or right alignment.

Keep notes readable
Use short lines and enough contrast so exported PDFs remain legible on site.
