Using the Properties Panel

The Properties panel shows controls that match the selected markup type. It is the most detailed place to adjust appearance and metadata.

Available fields change for text, shapes, measurements, lines, and other markup types.

Edit a selected markup

  1. 1

    Select the markup

Click the object on the drawing or choose it in the Markup List.

  2. 2

    Open Properties

Click Properties in the sidebar rail.

  3. 3

    Change fields

Edit the general fields (subject, comments, label, status, colour, lock), the appearance section (fill, stroke, hatch, font), and measurement options shown for that markup.

Know why fields change

Text and callouts expose font controls, shapes expose fill and hatch controls, lines expose end caps, volume measurements expose the height field, and count markers expose the count shape. Missing controls usually mean the selected markup type does not support that property.

Use review status

The status dropdown (Accepted, Rejected, Cancelled, Completed, In Review) marks where each item sits in your review. Status is visible in the Markup List and can be used for grouping.
