Selecting, Moving, and Resizing Markups

Select mode is the safest way to adjust existing annotations without placing a new markup. It works with drawing objects, measurement markups, count markers, stamps, and signatures.

Selected markups show handles and can also be edited from the Properties panel.

Select a markup

    Switch to Select

    Choose Select from the toolbar or right rail before editing existing objects.

  2. 2

    Click the object

    Click a visible markup on the drawing, or choose it from the Markup List if it is hard to target.

  3. 3

    Use multi-select where needed

    Use the Markup List or selection controls to work with more than one markup when the workflow supports it.

Move or resize

  1. 1

    Drag the markup body

    Drag inside the markup to move it to a new position on the same page.

  2. 2

    Drag handles

    Use visible handles to resize shapes, text boxes, count markers, snapshots, stamps, and signatures.

  3. 3

    Check locked state

    If the markup will not move, check whether it is locked in the Layers panel, Markup List, or Properties panel.
