Creating and Editing Markups
Markups are editable objects placed over a drawing. They stay separate from the PDF content, so you can move, style, group, lock, count, and export them without changing the original drawing.

Drawing tools live in the workspace toolbar and right-side tool rail. Selecting a markup exposes handles and editable properties.
Add a markup
- 1
Open a drawing
Go to the app workspace, open a markup, and select the drawing tab you want to annotate.
- 2
Choose a tool
Use the top toolbar or right tool rail to choose a text, shape, line, arrow, stamp, measurement, or count tool.
- 3
Place it on the page
Click, drag, or click multiple points depending on the selected tool. The markup appears on the active page.
Edit a markup
- 1
Select it
Switch to Select, then click the markup on the drawing or choose it from the Markup List.
- 2
Move or resize
Drag the object to move it. Use the visible handles to resize box, text, stamp, and count markups.
- 3
Change style
Use the toolbar or Properties panel to update line colour, fill, opacity, text style, lock state, subject, layer, and status where available.
