Locked markups remain visible but resist editing until unlocked.
Lock a markup
- 1
Select the object
Choose the markup on the drawing, in the Layers panel, or in the Markup List.
- 2
Turn on Lock
Use the lock control in the panel or properties area.
- 3
Confirm before export
Locked markups still export when visible; lock state only protects editing.
Unlock a markup
- 1
Find the locked item
Use Layers or the Markup List if the object is hard to select on the drawing.
- 2
Use Unlock
Toggle the lock control off, then edit or move the markup normally.
