Use a Pro, Team, Lifetime, or other paid entitlement with available AI credits.

Choose a clear target
Ask for a specific item type such as downlights, doors, or floor wastes.

Limit the context
Use a page or region that contains the items instead of a whole document when possible.

Review the proposal
AI chat prepares count actions for review. Approve the proposal only after checking the suggested detections.

Audit the group
Use the Markup List to rename, split, merge, delete, or resume the count group.
Do not skip review
AI can miss items or count false positives. Check every marker before using totals in BoQ rows, quotes, or client-facing documents.
