Troubleshooting
Slow PDF Rendering
Browser rendering can slow down on very large sheets, scanned PDFs, dense vector drawings, or pages with many visible markups.
Updated 2026-07-03 · 5 min read
Large drawings need stable browser resources and focused workspace layouts.
Improve rendering
- 1
Close unused tabs
Free browser memory before working on large drawing sets — both browser tabs and unused drawing tabs inside the workspace.
- 2
Use focused layouts
Switch to Drawing Focus and close sidebar panels you do not need while navigating complex pages.
- 3
Zoom intentionally
Avoid rapid zoom and pan changes while a large page is still loading.
- 4
Split large PDFs where practical
Use Extract Pages in the Thumbnails panel to break a huge set into smaller working files.
When to contact support
Send the browser, operating system, drawing size, page count, and whether the PDF is scanned or vector-based if rendering remains slow.
