Workspace

Uploading Drawings

A workspace starts with uploaded drawings. PDFs open as-is; PNG, JPG, WEBP, and HEIC images (including phone photos of plans) are converted to PDF pages automatically. After upload, open the drawing, confirm the sheet is readable, and calibrate scale before measurement work.

Uploaded drawings become available from workspace files and document tabs.

Upload a drawing

  1. 1

    Open the workspace

Create or open the workspace that should contain the drawing. You can also upload straight from the dashboard with the Upload Drawing button.

  2. 2

    Add the file

Drag files into the Files panel or click Upload Files. PDF, PNG, JPG, WEBP, and HEIC drawings are supported, plus CSV and TXT reference files. Several files upload in parallel.

  3. 3

    Open the drawing

Double-click the uploaded document in the Files panel to open it in a tab.

  4. 4

    Check readiness

Confirm page count, rendering, searchability, and scale before doing takeoff work.

After upload

Rename drawings clearly and use the Settings panel for metadata (title, project, client) when the file name alone does not explain the sheet. Set a file status (Not started, In progress, Complete) to track review progress.
