No Windows VM, no Boot Camp, no second machine
If it runs Safari, Chrome, or any modern browser, it runs ContractorCounter. Upload PDF or image drawings and start marking up on the Mac you already use, including cloud-based takeoff and the option to start a free trial. If a Revu 20 perpetual license is the reason you're looking — end of support is July 31, 2026, end of life December 31.

The AI tier widened the Mac gap, not closed it
If you were waiting for Bluebeam's AI to be the thing that finally brought you back, check the requirements first: the Max plan's AI integration connects Revu 21.9 or later to the Claude desktop app, and Bluebeam documents the setup for Windows. For a Mac contractor that means the VM again, on the most expensive plan, plus a paid Claude subscription. The AI takeoff here runs in the same browser tab as everything else, on macOS and iPad, with no install and no second subscription.
