Contract Review Privacy and Data Handling
Contracts are confidential documents, so the product is built to touch as little of yours as possible. This article describes exactly what is processed where; the ContractorCounter Privacy Policy at contractorcounter.com/legal is the authoritative version.

The PDF stays in your browser — only extracted text is processed, and stored findings delete automatically.
Your PDF stays in your browser
The PDF file is opened and read entirely in your browser. It is not uploaded to our servers. A copy is kept in your own browser's storage so the review can resume after Stripe checkout — you can clear it anytime through your browser settings.
What we do process
The contract's extracted text is sent to our service (hosted on Cloudflare) and passed to Google's Gemini API to produce the review. This uses Google's paid API tier, and your contract content is not used to train AI models. Review findings — which include short verbatim quotes from the contract — are stored temporarily so your purchase can be delivered.
How long findings are kept
Unpurchased review results are deleted after 7 days. Purchased reviews are kept for 30 days after unlock, then deleted automatically. Nothing about your review is shared with anyone — including the party who sent you the contract.
Payments and network data
Stripe processes payment on its own hosted checkout page; your card details never reach our systems. Your network address is used transiently to enforce the daily free-review limit and is not attached to your review results.
