Contract review

Reviewing Your First Contract

ContractorCounter Review lives at review.contractorcounter.com. Drop in a contract PDF and the AI reads every clause like a contracts consultant working for you — payment terms, liquidated damages, time bars, retention, indemnities — then highlights each issue on the page with a plain-English concern and what to ask for instead. No account or install is needed.

Drop the PDF, watch the AI review run, see how many issues were found, then unlock the full marked-up contract.

1. Try the free sample first

The home page shows a fully reviewed sample subcontract — click any highlight or callout to see how findings are presented. In the workspace you can also press "Try the sample subcontract" to load the same demo for free. The sample never counts against anything and costs nothing.

2. Upload your contract

  1. 1

    Drop the PDF anywhere

Drag your contract PDF anywhere onto the home page (or the upload screen at review.contractorcounter.com/app). Subcontracts, head contracts, purchase orders, and consultancy agreements all work — the PDF needs selectable text.

  2. 2

    Wait for the review

The AI reads every clause and writes plain-English findings. This usually takes 30–90 seconds; progress messages show what is being checked.

  3. 3

    See what was found

When the review completes you see the results summary: how many clauses were flagged, their severity split (high risk / negotiate / clarify), the categories involved, and which pages the issues sit on. The findings themselves stay locked until the review is purchased.

3. Unlock the full review

  1. 1

    Pay US$19 through Stripe

Press "Unlock the full review — $19". Payment is a one-time US$19 through Stripe's secure checkout — no account, no subscription.

  2. 2

    The review opens automatically

After payment you return to the workspace and the full review renders: every finding highlighted on the page with a margin callout, a findings sidebar grouped by severity, and an overall assessment of whether to sign as-is.

  3. 3

    Record what you need

Work through the sidebar and note the recommendations — each finding includes a concrete "ask for this instead" you can use in your response email. Results are kept for 30 days after purchase, so save what you need within that window.
